A few days ago, I reported on regulatory filings showing that Huawei was preparing to launch the Huawei Watch D3. I first spotted the device in Indonesia’s certification database earlier this month, followed by an Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) listing that revealed three distinct model numbers.
Now, Huawei has officially confirmed the watch is real.
In a short teaser video released on YouTube today, Huawei gave us our first look at the Watch D3 alongside the tagline: “Blood Pressure Management, Made Slimmer.“
What the Teaser Reveals
The original Huawei Watch D was widely praised for bringing accurate, mechanical cuff-based blood pressure monitoring to a wrist device. However, its bulky and industrial design meant it wasn’t the most comfortable watch for daily wear or sleep tracking.
Based on today’s teaser, Huawei appears to have solved that problem:

Sleeker, Thinner Profile: The video shows a noticeably slimmer rectangular case with smoothed, refined edges and a polished metallic frame, making it look much more like a premium everyday smartwatch.

Refined Hardware: The side of the watch features a rotating crown and a secondary physical button, likely used for quick-access blood pressure readings or health metrics.

Updated UI & Colorways: The video highlights a clean display showing real-time systolic (SYS) and diastolic (DIA) readings, heart rate, and historical graphs. It also showcases multiple color options, including a gold/beige finish with a matching textured strap and a classic dark/black model.
Official Launch Date Set
At the end of the video, Huawei revealed when we will see the watch in full. The Huawei Watch D3 will officially debut at an Innovative Product Launch event in Munich on September 2, 2026.
