A few days ago, I shared a big discovery here on Wearable Fans. While digging through the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) regulatory database, I found three unreleased Huawei smartwatch model numbers: LEB-AL00, LEB-AL10, and NIZ-AL00.
At the time, I knew Huawei was working on new hardware, but I could only guess which watch series these model numbers belonged to.
Now, the puzzle pieces are finally coming together.
Huawei just posted a teaser video on YouTube confirming that the Huawei Watch 6 is coming very soon. In the short clip, Huawei gave us a quick look at three distinct color options for the upcoming smartwatch line.
Seeing three color options in the video immediately made everything click. The three model numbers spotted in the certification filings line up with this new announcement.
Connecting the Database Filings to the Teaser
Here is how the regulatory details match what Huawei just teased:

Two “LEB” Models (LEB-AL00 & LEB-AL10): In smartwatch filings, when two models share the same initial prefix (like “LEB”), it almost always means two sizes or connectivity options of the same core device. For the Watch 6 line, this could represent two different case sizes—such as a smaller 42mm/43mm version and a larger 46mm option—or a split between standard Bluetooth and cellular (eSIM) models.

The “NIZ” Model (NIZ-AL00): This separate model code could represent a specific colorway, a special edition material, or a distinct style variant within the Huawei Watch 6 family that required its own registration paperwork.
What We Know So Far
While Huawei’s YouTube video did not reveal full specifications or health tracking features, it confirms that launch day is right around the corner (September 2). Regulatory approvals in regions like the EAEU are usually one of the final steps before a product hits store shelves.
When tech companies start publishing official video teasers after filing regulatory papers, the official launch usually follows within a few weeks.
