Suunto Screenless Band HR264 Hits Regulatory Databases in Singapore, Russia, and the UAE

Two days ago, we shared an exclusive first look at some leaked pictures of an unreleased Suunto device—the HR264.

Since dropping that initial leak, I’ve been digging deeper into global regulatory databases to see where else it’s been showing up. It turns out Suunto is quietly pushing this device through approval processes all over the world. Today, I tracked down fresh filings in Singapore, Russia, and the UAE.

Here is what the latest paperwork reveals.

1. IMDA Singapore Filing

First, I checked Singapore’s IMDA database. The filing gives us a bit more official background on the hardware category:

  • Equipment Category / Type: Private Mobile Radio / Bluetooth

  • Equipment Description: Heart rate monitor

  • Brand / Trade Name: SUUNTO

  • Model Name / No.: HR264

  • Marketing Name: Heart rate monitor

  • Supplier: 7Stars Consultancy Pte. Limited

2. Russia Declaration of Conformity

Next up, the device has also surfaced in Russian regulatory records. While a lot of it is standard compliance boilerplate, the dates confirm this is moving into active serial production right now:

  • Status: Active

  • Object Type: Serial production

  • Date of Registration: October 16, 2026

  • Completion Date: October 14, 2031

  • Storage Conditions: -20°C to +55°C, relative humidity 5% to 95% (without condensation)

3. TDRA UAE Filing

Finally, the HR264 has appeared in the United Arab Emirates in the TDRA database, filed via Shift Electronics LLC:

  • Product Type: Bluetooth

  • Marketing Name: Heart rate monitor

  • Model Name: HR264

  • Equipment Registration No: ER66304/26

  • Application / Registration Status: ACTIVE

  • Issue Date: October 12, 2026

  • Expiry Date: October 11, 2029

  • Standards: EN 300 328, EN 301 489-17, EN 301 489-1, EN 60950, EN 62368

What We Still Don’t Know

Across all these documents, one detail stands out: Suunto officially calls it a “Heart rate monitor.”

Combined with the design we shared earlier, it’s definitely a screenless band. But right now, we still can’t confirm 100% how it’s worn, whether it’s meant to strap to your wrist like a traditional band or sit higher on your arm like a dedicated optical heart rate sensor armband.

I’m still digging through more databases and keeping my eyes open for any new clues. Stay tuned, and as soon as I find out more about how this thing works, I’ll update you here!
