I have some really exciting news for anyone who loves cheap and reliable fitness trackers. I was digging through the UAE’s Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TDRA) database, and I just spotted two brand-new, unannounced fitness bands from Xiaomi!
If you look at the screenshots I took from the database, you can see all the official details.
The Model Numbers: What Did I Find?
Xiaomi has registered two distinct model numbers under the generic marketing name “Smart Band.” Based on how Xiaomi usually names their products, these are definitely the upcoming Xiaomi Mi Smart Band 11 series.
Here is what the TDRA database reveals:

Model M2558B1: This model is shown in the TDRA (See the picture above). It is listed as an active registration for Xiaomi Communications Co., Ltd. This is going to be the standard Xiaomi Mi Smart Band 11.

Model M2559B1: This model is visible in TDRA (see picture above). This corresponds to the Xiaomi Mi Smart Band 11 NFC version, which will support contactless payments and transit cards depending on your region.
Both devices are officially categorized by the TDRA as “Short range devices / Low power Devices,” which fits a Bluetooth-enabled fitness tracker perfectly.
What Does This Mean?
The registrations are marked as Active, meaning Xiaomi is officially clearing the regulatory hurdles to sell these devices globally.
Since the standard and NFC versions are popping up together in regulatory databases, it looks like Xiaomi is preparing for a major global launch very soon. We can expect the usual upgrades like a brighter screen, better battery tracking, and maybe some new health monitoring features.
