I stumbled across a brand-new, completely unreleased Garmin device.

What Could Model A0P3039 Actually Be?
When you look closely at the data, there is a massive clue hiding in plain sight. Under the wireless specifications, it only lists Bluetooth. There is absolutely no mention of Wi-Fi or ANT+ (which Garmin uses for most of its standard chest straps and cycling sensors). More importantly, there’s no mention of a cellular or GPS radio in this specific filing.
If you’ve been following the Garmin rumor mill lately, your mind probably jumps to the exact same conclusion mine did: This has got to be the Garmin Cirqa.
Why the Garmin Cirqa Fits Perfectly
For a quick refresher, rumors have been swirling about a brand-new wearable category from Garmin called the Cirqa. Unlike their usual chunkier smartwatches, the Cirqa is heavily rumored to be a screenless, sleek fitness and recovery band—very much like a Whoop strap or the recent Fitbit Air.
The whole point of a screenless tracker is to focus purely on health metrics (like sleep, heart rate variability, and strain) without the distraction of a display. Because it doesn’t have a screen, it doesn’t need power-heavy Wi-Fi or independent GPS. It just needs a reliable, low-power Bluetooth chip to sync its data directly to your phone or to bridge with an existing Garmin watch.
The IMDA listing classifying the A0P3039 strictly as a “Low Power Radio Equipment” with only Bluetooth matches that description flawlessly.
Why This Matters
If this really is the Cirqa, it means Garmin is getting incredibly close to an official launch. Devices usually hit regional databases like Singapore’s IMDA, Malaysia’s SIRIM, or the FCC when the company is finalizing the paperwork for retail distribution.
Garmin dominates the hardcore sports watch market, but a high-end, screenless recovery band would be a massive shift for them.
I’ll definitely keep digging to see if any photos or FCC internal testing documents leak next. For now, keep your eyes peeled for model A0P3039—we might be looking at Garmin’s next big product line very soon.
