What Does This Mean?
First, this confirms that Xiaomi is moving fast on its next-generation budget wearable lineup. The previous Redmi Watch 5 Active and Watch 5 Lite were huge hits for people who wanted a simple smartwatch with basic health tracking, long battery life, and Bluetooth calling without spending a lot of money.
Second, an IMDA listing usually means a product is close to launch in global markets. When a company registers a device in Singapore, it typically means an international release is only a few weeks or months away.
What Can We Expect?
While the database entry only confirms Bluetooth connectivity and model numbers, we can make a few educated guesses based on Xiaomi’s track record:

Redmi Watch 6 Active: The “Active” line usually targets folks who want a large display, sports tracking, and durable design at an entry-level price point. Expect a square design, high battery life, and built-in Bluetooth calling.

Xiaomi hasn’t said a word about these devices publicly yet, but I’ll be keeping a close eye on other certification sites like the FCC and EEC to see what else leaks.
